Michelle Pucci-Orosz

Michelle Pucci-Orosz is a trained dancer, Pilates Instructor and certified personal trainer. She has always been passionate about the biomechanics of movement and the way one moves through space. Whether it is in class or private sessions, instilling proper form is a primary focus. She is a NASM certified personal trainer, AFAA certified group exercise instructor, Pilates Mat certified through Linda Fit Pilates and CPR/AED qualified. Michelle’s teaching experience includes Piloxing and Dance Cardio Sculpt at Elements Fitness Studio in Manhattan, Piloxing and Zumba instructor at Shotokan Karate Studio in Queens, Fitness instructor at Simply Fit Astoria, Dance Program Director at Camp Wicosuta in New Hampshire. When helping clients achieve their personal fitness goals she always likes to remind everyone to find the JOY in that process. And to take that time to really be present and in the moment.

I have been a dancer my whole life and spent years taking her class at Broadway Dance Center. There was this “thing” about her class that made me so drawn to her and I could never pinpoint what it was until I decided to pursue Fitness as a career. As a personal trainer with an in-house training company, Linda truly gave me the tools to be able to gain new clients as well as their trust. She has instilled the importance of taking the time to really observe how students are executing each movement and not rushing the learning process for instant results. I find myself CONSTANTLY going back to her manual, which has proven to be invaluable. Some of my clients have major limitations and having that manual has given me the tools I need to make adjustments on them. And aside from how knowledgeable she is with Pilates and anatomy, Linda is such a patient, humble and kind human being who always makes the time to help her students grow and answer any question no matter how small. She is a true mentor. She most certainly is MY mentor.
