Sydney Duncheon

Sydney Duncheon is a born and bred Northern California girl with an unyielding love for the outdoors and being active. She is grateful to have been raised in a loving, athletic, and outdoorsy family, and thanks her father for imparting a zeal for all things active, especially hiking, skiing, and fitness. This appreciation naturally translated to an enthusiasm for exploring different methods of fitness, including Pilates.

Sydney spent a year studying the head, neck, and spine relationship through Alexander Technique before deciding to study Pilates. She received her Pilates Mat certification from LindaFit Pilates which gave her the experience and knowledge she needed to kickstart her career. Sydney now teaches Pilates and Barre at Flex Studios NYC. Linda’s program offers in depth anatomy education, practice teaching experience, and effective cueing; skills that are necessary for a successful and meaningful fitness instruction career. Sydney finds incredible freedom of expression and personal strength through physical fitness, and obtains great joy in spreading the positive outcomes of being active to others by way of Pilates instruction.
